The concert was originally scheduled to take place in Oxford at the Polytechnic but was moved to Wheatley at the Lady Spencer Churchill College.
Lady Spencer Churchill College, Wheatley, Oxford.
The flyer for Wheatley gives the admission price of 50p, which I remember is what I paid. The advert was for the gig at Oxford Polytechnic, where my mate Andy and I duly went to, only to discover the concert was at Lady Spencer College. We got to the College and it would have been attended by around thirty to forty people ! It was a great night though !

The Cure played a gig at Lady Spencer-Churchill College (near Oxford) on March 13th, 1979. I was there. They played pretty much the same group of songs three times, standing behind the drumkit in between sets. They definitely played Killing An Arab and 10.15 Saturday Night (which I had just bought), but I can't remember what the other songs were.

unknown whether there was an opening act
