info
from Vince:
Finally The Cure took the stage at 23h45 for the three planned songs (done during the morning rehearsal). Open started and the perfo was really good, great sound, and the return of Pol... He was the only one not really "curist", with a strange english jacket and no hair... 100 Years followed, with projections behind the stage. The global filming by M6/Inter Concerts was quite good, with the exception of stupid girls/boys with their mobile filmed by the crew... Not very usefull... You can notice that the giant screens did not broadcasted the start of Open for around 20 seconds...
At the end of 100 Years, Pol changed his guitar... and the band started End, which was REALLY good ! The band played for around 17 minutes if i remember.
After the performance, the stage - two setups were on a round circle stage which was changed during each set to prepare the next one.
10 minutes after, a stage manager made an announce, to say that Youssou N'Dour was arriving from London to play, and that they will play in a few minutes.
Surprisingly, i saw the round circle stage moving again... and recognize Simon's back ! Oh oh... The Cure are playing extra tracks !!!!!
After a few big "plug-ins" sound, Robert started without a word... Just Like Heaven ! Then they played Boys Don't Cry !!! Robert ended by saying that it was due to technical problems (for next act) they played those two songs... And he also said that they may come again...
...
Most of the audience had already left before Youssou perfo, and i went home after a great night and 5 songs of Robert and Co !
