from the book 'Ten Imaginary Years'
During April, they met up with Lockjaw again in Redhill. Robert: "Up until then, I'd only known Simon just to say hello to but we spent a really good evening together drinking from about five o'clock till two in the morning and we became good friends."
Simon: "When Lockjaw and Easy Cure used to play gigs together, me and Robert used to gooff together and ask the deejay to put on things like 'Night Fever' so we could disco dance while all the punks pogoed about."
When might this performance have taken place?
Given that the New Musical Express's Nationwide Gig Guide for 1978 only lists Sunday dates for concerts at the Lakers Hotel, it seems that Sunday was the usual day for concerts there at that time.
For all Sundays in April, the NME lists the following concerts at the Lakers:
2 April: CRAZY MONA
9 April, 16 April, 23 April and 30 April: HOT POINTS
