... staked our place in the aisle at the front ... waited & chatted ... Then they came on – They were just brilliant! They started off with Shake Dog Shake and finished with three encores, including Boys Don't Cry ... Just wonderful!!! ... Afterwards we all went backstage, all on @christina_heristanidis 's pass (formerly Robert's pass) ... Said Hi to Robert, who said 'Hello Hariklia' and Lawrence who said 'Yes, we know all about that'.
... followed the van to The Diplomat and went up to Club Smith – Robert's room. It was a little awkward cause apart from the band and us there were all kids there, taggers along ... Robert was so entertaining, so funny and chatty. Of course he was talking to C and I, D was mostly 'just there'. Later when Mark left, J sat nearer, but she didn't say a word either ... Robert was doing Michael Jackson impersonations and also told us about Budgie being mistaken for Barry Manilow! He told us about his flat, and about recording The Glove album.
Robert begged us not to go, cause he said when we did he'd be pounced upon. And when I yawned he said – You want to leave don't you? Don't leave or I hope you don't want to leave etc. Of course we couldn't do that to him and ended up staying til about 4.30 in the morning!
